Video calls with the GZA Praktijklijn

If you have a question about your health, you can video call the Praktijklijn of the GZA. On a video call you and the person you are calling can see one another. The GZA has an app you can download for free to your smartphone or tablet for this purpose.
How can I video call the GZA Praktijklijn?
You need a device that has an Internet connection, such as a smartphone or tablet. The device also needs to have a microphone, screen and a camera. You need to download and install the GZA Praktijklijn app. Once you’ve done that, follow these steps:
- Download the GZA Praktijklijn app on your device from the Appstore (Apple) or Playstore (Android).
- Create an account using your COA-zorgnummer (COA healthcare number). Not sure how to do that? Ask a COA staff member for help.
- Select ‘Medical emergencies’ (if it’s an emergency) or ‘Non-urgent medical questions’.
- You will be connected to the Praktijklijn.
Advantages of a video call
The advantages of calling via the GZA Praktijklijnapp are:
- You and the Praktijklijn staff member can hear and see one another.
- If your complaint is visible, you can show it via the screen. This is useful if your complaint is difficult to explain.
- You can make a video call with your smartphone from your room or other place of your choice.
- You can use Wi-Fi to make the video call.
Please note: you can only use the GZA Praktijklijn app to ask any questions you may have
Want to arrange or reschedule a medical appointment? Or need a zorgtaxi? You cannot use the app for this. You need to call the Praktijklijn. It is open from Monday through Friday, between 08:30 and 17:00.
